Guildford Aquatic Centre

Located in Surrey, the Guildford Aquatic Centre is a 64,000 sq. ft. expansion to the existing Guildford Recreation Centre. Completed in 2015 and designed by SHAPE Architecture in collaboration with Revery Architecture, the award-winning facility features an Olympic-length lap pool with movable floor, leisure pool, lazy river, hot tubs, steam room, and ample spectator seating. Built to LEED Gold-equivalent standards, the centre serves as a major health and wellness hub for one of Surrey’s fastest-growing communities. DC Steel provided rebar installation, supporting the project’s complex architectural and mechanical requirements.
