UBC Gateway North

Located at the UBC Bus Exchange, Gateway North is a 7-storey mixed-use building designed to support advanced scientific research. The upper floors will house GMP labs, while the lower levels include a grocery store and retail spaces oriented toward the bus exchange. The building’s structure supports large open lab floor plates and a prominent mechanical penthouse, reflecting the technical demands of the facility. DC Steel is contributing rebar installation services for this project, supporting a durable structural framework for a highly specialized research environment at UBC.
